Christine is the managing partner for Cronin, Skilton & Skilton. Born on August 5, 1959, Christine was raised in Boone, Iowa. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration cum laude with marketing department honors from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, in 1980. Christine graduated from Drake Law School with her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1983.

Married to David Skilton since 1984, Christine traveled with him on his Army assignments, opening her own law firm in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, in 1986, and later practicing with the Joseph White Law firm, and Brown, Todd & Heyburn, both in Louisville, Kentucky. She also practiced with Williamson & Toscano in Charlottesville, Virginia, before returning to Iowa in 1992. She is currently admitted to practice law in Iowa and Nebraska, as well as federal courts in Iowa and Kentucky, and the United States Supreme Court.

Christine’s primary practice areas include real estate, bankruptcy, wills and probate, taxation and family law. Christine and David reside in Nashua. They have three daughters: Elizabeth, Kathryn and Madeline.
